Dear Matthew, Miranda and Matt,
I’m so pleased to find out about this group! I have just begun a PhD at Queen Mary, in the Drama department, looking at new/experimental contemporary classical music performance practices. I’m a professional violinist, with a literary background, and I wanted to do a project that contributes to an interdisciplinary conversation between musicology and performance studies.
Unfortunately I am not able to come at 5pm on November 26th because I have to give a presentation in a Drama seminar that finishes at 6pm. Would it be ok to slip in to the end of the talk, or otherwise just come along at the end? It would be good to meet you and I look forward to coming to future events organised by this group.
Best wishes,
Sarah Barnes
